Some people just go all out at Christmas time, to the point of creating a customized choreographed Christmas light display. The two videos below present some of the best I've seen this year. The first display uses sound activation through speakers (the lights are literally hooked up to special speakers). The second display uses a Parallax controller, with 18 outlets to control the lights.
