More Uses for SpringPad
I've been using SpringPad for about two weeks, now. SpringPad is a task list manager, and SO much more. I'm very impressed with it. They have lists for groceries, gift ideas, travel, budget, inventory, etc.
I normally keep all my lists in three places: on my windows mobile phone, in a notebook on my desk at home, and another in a notebook at work. I recently began moving my lists to SpringPad. One of the nice features of SpringPad is being able to use it anywhere I am (since I'm 95% of the time within range of a pc/internet).
One list I particularly like is the inventory list. This is something I'd been planning to make for myself for quite a while, but have been too busy/lazy to do it. The inventory list allows you to create a list of all the devices, gadgets, and whatnot in your home. Why is this important? Insurance. The next time I'm hit with a hurricane, or (God forbid) robbed, I know have a list of everything I had plus their serial numbers and more.
I recently took a trip to New York City. I used the travel planner in SpringPad to plan out where I would go in the Big Apple, what restaurants to eat at, and much more. I only needed SpringPad to plan out the whole trip. SpringPad includes Google Maps mashups for everything in your list with an address, which is a very handy feature to have.
